Taking the profit out of slavery
Most people think slavery ended centuries ago.
The fact is however; there are more slaves today than any other time in history. Combined. Women rescued from conditions of forced labour make every piece of clothing in Moselle’s range. Know the story you’re wearing; learn more about the plight of the slaves and human trafficking.
Do you know where the shirt you are wearing came from?
How small were the hands that stitched the collar or how much was paid to the woman sorting the material? Chances are if a bargain looks too good to be true, is probably is. It’s time to face the facts: the majority of clothing manufacturers utilize exploited or slave labour, and the list keeps growing.

What do you think of women armed with sewing machines? Moselle believes freed slaves are the best equipped to free more slaves; that’s why we employ women rescued from slavery or vulnerable to traffickers. By their employment, they are able to support their families and build into their communities.
Moselle is a social business initiative of YWAM Sunshine Coast, Australia.
